Brighten skin and defy signs of ageing with the Vitamin C Suspension Serum 30% in Silicone from The Ordinary; a waterless antioxidant-packed topical formula that remains completely stable due to the absence of water. Enriched with 30% of Vitamin C in its purest form (L-Ascorbic Acid), the serum helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and discolouration overnight when skin is most receptive. The addition of very light silicones allow the serum to effortlessly glide across skin for a silky-smooth finish.
Free from water, alcohol, oil, nut, gluten and soy.
Vegan. Cruelty-free.
Please Note: The format of this formula is a suspension of very fine L-Ascorbic Acid powder and, as such, provides the most direct exposure of extremely high concentrations of Vitamin C topically. With such format, a very strong tingling but non-irritating sensation is expected during the first 1-2 weeks of use until the skin's tolerance to such high exposure is elevated. If the sensation is too strong to tolerate, the formula can be mixed on each application with other creams or serums of your preference.
Apply a small amount to face in the AM or the PM (PM preferred). A tingling sensation can be expected after application. If this sensation is too strong, this formula can be diluted on each application with your favourite serum or cream.

Feels lush
I've been using this product at night but it has a lovely mattifying texture that would be nice as a blur cream during the day. Leaves skin feeling amazing but one star knocked off because (although you are warned about it) it was too stingy at first and I had to wash it off or I couldn't sleep!

Love this!
The first appliance I used too much and it stung a little, but after that it didn't hurt once and it feels so good on my skin! I've definitely noticed more of a glow to my skin since using this!

Have a glowing skin ASAP you wake up
I included this product in my night time skincare routine and when you wake up in the morning it's all glowing and healthy looking. The down side of it is that it's a bit irritating on the skin when you apply it; but no major side effects.

Awesome
I had really textured skin and this helped immensely almost immediately! It does tingle, but it warns you on the back, so don't worry about that. And i would definitely recommend this for acne scars to lighten them :)

Good product
I like this vitamin C product. It's got a nice smooth texture, goes on easily, you can layer other products with it and you don't need too much. Beware though, it can cause irritation so you need to work up to this percentage of vitamin C or use it every other night to start with as your skin builds up tolerance.

Dried out my skin
Had really high hopes for this as I'm a huge fan of the vitamin c suspension with ha spheres, but as that was sold out I gave this one a go. The formula of this - I suspect from the silicone - unfortunately just didn't agree with my skin. My skin is usually quite healthy and glowy, but this product made my skin so dry and lifeless that I had to stop using it. Everyone's skin is different, but something to bear in mind if silicone-based products tend to dry out your skin. I'll now be steering clear.

Better for oily skin
I have rather dry skin and I didn't really like the consistency of this product. I think for someone with more normal or oily skin this would be great as it's in silicone, but my skin just needed more moisture and hydration than this vitamin c gives. For dryer skin I would recommend the Inkey list 15% vitamin c serum as it has a more liquid consistency and feels more hydrating!

Lightweight
This product is wonderful on my skin. Helped with spots I get on my chin and gives a nice matt effect when applied. Highly recommend
